StickyNoteSync was built on the principle that your voice is your own. Unlike most transcription services, we don't want your data, we don't want your email, and we certainly don't want your audio on our servers. In fact, we don't even have servers to store them on.
You can use StickyNoteSync without ever creating an account. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifiers. There are no passwords to remember and no profiles to build.
All audio-to-text transcription happens locally on your Mac, iPhone, or Apple Watch using advanced on-device AI models. Your audio never leaves your device during the transcription process. This means your private conversations stay private, even if you're offline.
If you choose to use the sync feature, your transcriptions are stored in your own private iCloud account. This data is end-to-end encrypted and accessible only by you through your Apple ID. We never have access to your iCloud data, and it is never shared with third parties.
We do not use any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs. We don't track how many notes you take, how long they are, or what you say. Your usage patterns are your own business.
You have full control over your data. You can delete individual notes or your entire history at any time within the app. Because the data is stored on your device and your iCloud, once you delete it, it is permanently removed from all your devices and Apple's servers.
If you have any questions about our privacy-first approach or how we protect your data, please contact us at support@stickynotesync.com.
